The Fort Worth Geological Society is proud to host the 2012 Southwest Section American Association of Petroleum Geologists Convention. The venue is the downtown Fort Worth Hilton Hotel and Conference Center, to be held May 19 – 22.

The theme for this year's SWS AAPG Convention is "Leading the Stampede.” The Convention Committee is busy planning for a great event featuring four days of over 35 technical papers, 15 posters, 3 short courses, 2 field trips, a golf tournament and social events.

Sponsors are a very important part of the total program and without their generous financial support this event would not be possible. By sponsoring the 2012 SWS AAPG Convention your name, logo, and/or business affiliation will be prominently displayed throughout the Convention Halls and on Convention materials.

The AAPG Golf Tournament, held on Sunday May 20th, from 8 am until 2 pm at the Golf Cub at Fossil Creek would be an excellent opportunity to sponsor a major event.
